Volunteer

Project Dana would not be possible without support from a corps of trained volunteers guided by the principle of “Dana,” which combines selfless giving and compassion without desire for recognition or reward.

Project Dana recruits volunteers across the state to assist the elderly with their various needs. Volunteers are sensitive to diverse cultures and traditions, receive initial and continual training and education from the project, and are managed by trained volunteer coordinators from partner congregations.

"This experience (volunteering) has been a life-changing one for me. I have learned to be more concerned for others and be thankful for the one you have..."
